各位親愛的頌主堂會友︰

願主在此充滿挑戰的時候賜給你們平安！

此刻我們仍然未能聚集一起進行公禱，謹望藉著這封每週發出一次的電郵，可以為大家經常提供一點信息和更新，好讓大家互相得以連繫。

  1. 每週的禱文和經課
    • 附件是本主日中、英文禱文和經課，你或許能利用它們作靈修甚至加入任何線上崇拜直播。
  2. 即時播送或錄像崇拜
    • 我們經已在頌主堂網址（https://www.stechurch.com/services）登載了其它大多倫多地區有即時播送或錄像崇拜的粵語聖公會的鏈結，另外在座堂的亦有。這網頁是會經常更新的，直至我們再次能夠在頌主堂聚集崇拜為止。

  4. 疫中情 電郵 關懷網
    • 茲感謝粵語事工的成員合力為我們提供一個讓我們互相接觸和分享愛與關懷的方法。他們會向有記錄電郵信箱的廣東話會友發出經常性的電郵。若然你希望有份在此電郵網絡內，或想知道多些與此有關的消息的話，請與盧永信聯絡或電郵（info@stechurch.com）。
  5. 奉獻及財務
    • 由於我們未能掌握何時我們可以聚集一起崇拜，何時我們的租戶從新運作，我們漸漸失去了進項，可是教堂仍然繼續須要費用維持的。財政與領導團隊現時在努力，加上和教區緊密合作，以協助將對財政的負面影響減至最小。
    • 我們理解對不少人來說，現在是一個困難時期，不過，如果可以的話，希望大家考慮加入「好管家」計劃。這是預先授權支付（PAR）奉獻金額予頌主堂。有意加入此計劃的可填寫附上的申請表，另有小冊說明。查詢或遞交填妥的表格，可用網頁（PAR@stechurch.com）。
    • 除此之外，如果郵遞服務沒有阻滯的話，大家可以寄支票到（ST. ELIZABETH'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 1051 EGLINTON AVENUE WEST, MISSISSAUGA, ON, L5V 2W3）。
    • 現時我們正探討採用網上奉獻的可行性，雖然這是要稍為等待一下，一旦安排妥當，便即通知大家。
    • 假若您已經選用了「好管家」計劃，我們衷心感謝您繼續的支持，您每月會如往常一樣的日子得到轉賬處理。
  6. 外展 – 決定取消食品募捐
    • 原定在三、四月進行的春季食品募捐，基於疫症爆發，現決定取消。不過，密市食物庫仍然需要大量幫忙，才足以提供有需要者。假如您有能力幫忙，請考慮前往網址（https://www.themississaugafoodbank.org/）捐獻給他們。

Week of March 22, 2020 - Lent 4
 
Dear St. E parishioners,
 
May the Lord grant you peace during this challenging time.
While we are still unable to meet for corporate worship, we hope through these weekly emails we can provide you with regular updates and information to keep us all connected.
  1. Weekly Prayers & Readings
    • Attached are the prayers and Bible readings (in English & Chinese) for this Sunday. You may find these helpful to use in your daily devotion or when participating in any of the online streaming worship services.
  2. Livestream or Recorded Services
    • We have posted the links to any of the livestream or recorded services from the other GTA Chinese Anglican churches and from the Cathedral on our website: https://www.stechurch.com/services. This page will be updated regularly until we can congregate to worship at St. E again.
  3. Sermons
  4. Love in Pandemic - Email Network
    • We are thankful for our Cantonese ministry members joining together to provide a way for us to keep in touch and to share our love and care. They will be sending regular emails to the Cantonese members on our mass emailing list. If you would like to know more or would like to be included in this email network, please contact Wilson Loo or email info@stechurch.com
  5. Finances & Donations
    • Since we do not know when we will be able to congregate for worship together and when our property rentals will open again, our revenue streams are diminished while the cost to maintain our church will continue. The leadership and finance team is working hard together in communication with the Diocese to help minimize any negative impacts to our finances. 
    • We understand this may be a difficult time for many, but if you are able, we hope you will consider joining our "Good Stewardship" program for pre-authorized remittance (PAR) of donation to St. E. If you would like to join this program attached is brochure with more details about the program and the application form. Please send any questions or your completed application form to PAR@stechurch.com
    • Alternatively, assuming no interruption to postal services, you can send cheques by mail: ST. ELIZABETH'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 1051 EGLINTON AVENUE WEST, MISSISSAUGA, ON, L5V 2W3
    • We are currently looking at setting up online donation as another option. This may take some time, but we will inform everyone once that is available.
    • For those of you who are already participating in this program, thank you for your continuing support, your monthly remittances will still be processed as scheduled. If you wish to change your donation amount, please contact PAR@stechurch.com
  6. Outreach - Food Drive Cancelled
    • The Spring Food Drive originally planned for March - April have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, the Mississauga Food Bank still needs a lot of help to provide food for those in need. If you are able, please consider donating to them through their website: https://www.themississaugafoodbank.org/
Please continue to pray for one another and lift up our praise to our merciful God.
